Toivo Group develops and builds high-quality homes for sale and rent mainly in the Helsinki metropolitan area. For building projects to run efficiently and without compromising on quality, they must be backed by seamless project management and document control.
Toivo Group's Planning Director Tommi Peltola is responsible for the planning of the company's projects and acts as technical support in construction management. Peltola, who has worked at the company for five years, describes himself as a “heavy user” of SokoPro, who has up to 24 projects currently active in the system.
Up-to-date information is key to successful planning
In construction projects, the number of documents is huge, and plans are constantly updated.

The transition to SokoPro 2.0 was smooth. Peltola praises the speed and ease of the new version, and for example adding new people and partners to projects is effortless. When the system is logical and clear to use, information flow in day-to-day operations is easy to manage.
SokoPro is part of Toivo Group's projects from their very first steps right through to the final stage. At the end of the project, the data accumulated in the system is archived and used as the official handover documentation for the site.

SokoBid makes tendering easier
In addition to the project bank, Toivo Group makes extensive use of the SokoBid tool in the tendering of its projects. Peltola uses the tool to tender large construction contracts, and the company's procurement manager manages smaller procurement entities with it.
According to Peltola, SokoBid makes contract calculation and tender management more systematic in a way that cannot be achieved with traditional methods.
SokoBid significantly streamlines the tendering process and the management of bids. It’s completely different from trying to run these things by email, Peltola describes.
